In 2001, I established Blue Agates with the goal of informing the public about the rarity and beauty of Ellensburg Blue Agate and to share pictures of my lifetime hunting efforts. (see a pic of the original site below) I also wanted to caution buyers about the prevalence of fake Ellensburg Blue being sold online, as MOST of what's sold is NOT Ellensburg Blue Agate.
